Local Flavor Hits the Field: New DMV Eats at Nationals Park This Season

Buzz

Batter up, D.C.. The 2025 Nationals season isn’t just bringing big swings and home runs — it’s also serving up major local flavor. Thanks to the return of the ‘Pitch Your Product’ showcase, 11 new local restaurants and suppliers have scored a spot inside Nationals Park, giving fans even more to cheer (and munch) about.

This Shark Tank-style culinary competition, held during the offseason, invited local restaurateurs and food and beverage makers from across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia to present their tastiest concepts to a panel of judges — including Nationals front office staff, Levy culinary partners, and a few special guests. The goal? Find the most delicious, unique, and creative bites to join the lineup for the new season.

This year’s winning picks bring a mix of bold flavors, cultural pride, and serious crowd-pleasers. Get ready to dig into dishes from:

-Cotton & Reed, Cocktails, including the ‘Cocomotion,’ strawberry daquiri, dark & stormy and rum old fashioned

-Electric Cool-Aid, Boozy slushies

-Kam & 46, Hawaiian and Filipino recipes with a modern twist, including tuna tartare nachos, kalua pork sisig nachos and more
