Boxwood's Bordeaux-Style Wine Dinner

Georgetown French Market 2025
The Georgetown BID is hosting their 22nd annual Georgetown French Market April 25 - 27, 2025. This popular open-air market - originally inspired by those often seen in France - will feature sidewalk sales and specials from more than 40 locally-owned boutiques, cafés, and galleries along Wisconsin Avenue from O St to Reservoir Rd., plus live music, stilt-walkers, face painting, a mime, and more. Neighborhood restaurants will also offer food and drink specials featuring French cuisine and beyond - from pastries, croissants, and macarons, to lunch items grilled outside, and wine discounts. The Collection’s 2nd Annual Restaurant Week
The Collection will be hosting their restaurant week April 5th - April 12th. To partake, you must get your passports stamped following a meal; Restaurant Week passports can be picked up at the restaurants. Once they have completed your culinary trip around The Collection, you can drop off their stamped passport at a participating restaurant to win a prize. Those who turn in a passport with three or more stamps will be entered to win free prizes including a $200 gift, beats headphones, Apple iPad, and more.Restaurants will set their price points for breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner specials. ChiKo x Alfreda P Street Collab
Long time friends and colleagues, Chef Scott Drewno and Chef Russell Blue Smith, have teamed up to offer a tantalizing P Street combo. The chefs have collaborated to offer two collaborative dishes featuring each of their signature ingredients and techniques. At Alfreda, CHĪKO’s pork and kimchi filling meets Alfreda’s dough in a “Blooming Pie,” and at CHĪKO, an Alfreda’s pizza-inspired egg roll with pepperoni featuring a side of house-made kimchi marinara. The pro move? You should hit both spots — ordering Pizza Egg Rolls ($15) from CHĪKO and then head to Alfreda for a Blooming Pie ($15) where you will be treated to a free spritz to celebrate the neighborhood collab. Spritz only included when you purchase this way. The pop-up kicks off Friday, April 11th at 4:00 p.m. - Sunday, April 13th.

Speed Rack Season 13 Comes to DC
Speed Rack, the world’s first and only international all-women and femme bartending competition, announces its 13th season in the United States, beginning January 2025. Founded by spirits industry veterans Lynnette Marrero and Ivy Mix, Speed Rack aims to highlight leading female-identifying bartenders across the globe, with 100% of proceeds going directly to breast cancer education, prevention, and research. The organization has raised over $1.75 million dollars in the fight against breast cancer since inception, with a goal of breaking $2 million during Season 13.
