Michelin Guide 2024: A Night of Stars, Awards, and Culinary Excellence in Washington, DC
The second annual MICHELIN Guide Ceremony brought together New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC, for a dazzling night of culinary celebration. The event was filled with excitement as new stars were unveiled across the three cities, including the announcement of one new MICHELIN Starred restaurant in New York, three new Two-Star restaurants, and significant updates for the Washington, DC market.
DC’s Highlights - This year, the DC selection includes 116 restaurants spanning 37 types of cuisine. Two new eateries earned their first MICHELIN Stars, while the highly coveted MICHELIN Green Star was awarded for the first time in the district.

• Omakase at Barrack’s Row: Showcasing exceptional Japanese and sushi craftsmanship.

In addition to restaurant accolades, MICHELIN introduced four special awards celebrating outstanding contributions to the hospitality and culinary world:

Michelin Sommelier Award: William Simons of Albi
