CAPITAL JEWISH MUSEUM PRESENTS CJM AFTER SUNSET: LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

The Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum will host a holiday version of its after-hours program, CJM After Sunset: Light Up the Night, on Thursday, December 12, from 6-9 pm. The event, presented in partnership with GatherDC, will take place at the Museum which will be open with extended hours until 9 pm. Tickets to the program are $10-$25 and advance registration is encouraged. (Ages 21+) Guests are invited to join us and be inspired by Hanukkah to explore the region’s holiday history, enjoy festive activities, and imbibe thematic foods and drinks. Activities include four spotlight talks by Museum staff and partners, a bracket dreidel tournament, DIY wrapping paper, and an olive oil tasting. Mixologists will serve beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and the signature cocktail, olive oil martinis (cash bar). Royal Rooster Food Truck will be on site with food for sale, including a Hannukah favorite, fried chicken sandwiches. The Gewirz Museum Shop will offer a special 8% discount on all purchases. Complimentary sufganiyah will be available at the end of the night as a treat to take home. The full Museum will be open, including the new special exhibition JewCE: The Jewish Comics Experience!
