-Fairfax City Restaurant Week is back and keeps getting bigger and better. Joe Sullivan, Head Chef at the new musical venue Earps Ordinary showcased some cocktails. And,Tara Borwey, of Fairfax City Economic Development provided the Fairfax City Restaurant Week 411.
-Brad Feickert of Soko Butcher. — he has the meats. He stopped in to talk the butcher shop’s traditional offerings, cuts & delish sandwiches. Dylan Greer, general manager and head of beverages at the Koma Café joined him to shake up a pairing.
-Who has their finger on the pulse of hospitality?  Hilton’s Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites does. It’s so easy to take for granted all that they do to make your stay a great one. Shruti Gandhi Buckley, Senior VP & Brand Leader talked elevated hospitality and why everyone wants those Hampton Inn waffles.
-Miguel Guerra & Tatiana Mora transformed their pop-up Mita into into a permanent brick-and-mortar in Shaw.  Mita aims to offer a unique cultural experience, dispelling the notion of Latin American cuisine as solely meat-centric, INSTEAD focusing on Latin American vegetables and flavors and it’s all delicious.
