A new upscale casual Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, Namak, has opened in the space formerly home to Mintwood Place in Adams Morgan from Partners Saied Azali and John Cidre. Chef Tolgahan Gulyiyen leads the kitchen at this new 3,000 square-foot restaurant. The culinary team has crafted a menu that blends traditional flavors with modern twists through diverse offerings such as spreads, soups & salads, mezze, and traditional entrees and kebabs. Some menu highlights guests can get excited for include Mirza Ghasemi, Iraqi Potato Latkes, Zeytoon Parvardeh, and much more. Namak seats up to 90 guests in its dining room and has additional seating in the semi-private dining room, bar area, and outdoor patio. Brunch and lunch service will be added later this year.
