Gimme Some Shuga: Cafe Shuga - an innovative coffee bar serving single-origin coffee from various African countries, specialty drinks, and teas that highlight beloved African ingredients and the bold flavors of the continent has opened. It Ain’t Easy Being Green (Happy Hour Alert): The Green Zone is introducing a new happy hour menu. Happy hour will now feature $12 cocktails from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday - Friday, 2 - 8 PM Saturday, and all day on Sunday (starting at 2 PM). Duke’s Bamboo Bar: Duke's Grocery's sister restaurant, Duke's Counter in Woodley Park, is going all in for the return of pandas to Washington, D.C. with the introduction of "The Bamboo Bar," a panda-themed pop-up. You can enjoy drinks served in an assortment of panda drinkware furnished with edible garnishes and sustainable bamboo straws, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as hot beverages, and kid- friendly offerings.
