Lifelong friends Joe Ragonese, Stefanos Vouvoudakis, and Tom Tsiplakos have opened a new Mediterranean restaurant, Balos. This new 6,500 square-foot concept features a rotating menu by Chef Jean-Charles Métayer inspired by Greek seafood, spices, and seasonal fare. The space itself features 183 seats indoors, 35 seats outdoors, and 50 seats in their private event space. The name Balos comes from a lush and lively lagoon on the outskirts of Crete, which is the type of environment they aim to cultivate at the restaurant. Balos is open Sunday - Thursday from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m., and Friday - Saturday from 5:00 - 11:00 p.m. For more information, visit their website here.
