Andrew Manning, Patrick Phelan, and Megan Fitzroy Phelan have officially opened their newest restaurant, Nokoribi, located within The Veil Brewing Co.'s flagship taproom in Richmond's Scott's Addition neighborhood. Inpired by the Japanese dish, Yakitori, Nokoribi showcases Japanese pub-inspired menu items to complement The Veil's diverse beer offerings. Tom Gillis joins Andrew Manning and Patrick Phelan to lead Nokoribi's kitchen as Head Chef, cooking meats, seafood, and vegetables live over Binchotan charocoal. Some menu highlights include Pork Katsu Sando, Maitake Mushroom, Chicken Shrimp, and more. Guests can enjoy their dishes at counter seats with views of the open kitchen or ina seat throughout the 8.000 square-foot tap room. Nokoribi is open Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit Nokoribi's website here.
