The owners of The Alchemist DC have opened a New Orleans-themed bar on U Street, bringing the spirit of Mardi Gras to DC all year long. Guests can get excited for fish bowls, hurricanes, and other Bourbon Street favorites. From 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, guests can enjoy $5 Happy Hour specials. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can listen to the DJ playing a mix of modern and throwback music. The food program at Voodoo Bar will begin this Fall at the start of football season, when they will also hot watch parties for LSU and Saints games. Voodoo Bar is open Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m., and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. For more information, visit their Instagram here.
